Hi guys welcome back! As the last Friday, today we are going to talk about 5 jewellery items to print. So, if your girlfriend is mad at you or simply you want to make a gift to your wife, but you don’t know what…this article is for you! I know, you are thinking that 3D FDM and jewelry can’t stay in the same sentence. Obviously this is because with home printers you can only print plastic object. And everybody knows: plastic is not precious!
Anyway, I promise you, that even if we can’t print precious objects, 3D print allow us to create nice and cool jewels to wear. Online you could find thousand of examples. Today I chose the 5 objects I liked more. I hope you and your girlfriend will like it too! The first 3 are real jewels: every girls love them and are very easy to print. For the last 2 I’ve decided to talk about jewelry organizer. So if you don’t like the idea to print a no precious jewel you can have the option to create the perfect organizer for your better half. And we know, organizers match always perfectly with our 3D printer.
This earring, easy to draft and print, is a very good idea as a small trendy gift (expecially in summer time).
However it’s important for you to know that you have to buy earring hooks (for example on Amazon). Another operation I suggest you do is to finish the print! Using the homemade acetone vapors if printed in ABS (guide) or with our new method to finish the PLA (coming soon).
5 jewellery items to print: Ring
The well-known designer Flowalistic, famous for create the Pokemon Low Poly, has created a line of stylized, animal-shaped rings. Although is not precious, this line is very cute to wear: young and trendy. The line includes cat ears (see photo), bunny ears, reindeer antlers (for Christmas) and bull antlers (not recommended for wifes, husbands and boyfriends) and finally mickey mouse ears.
If you have time, look at them all, they are really cute!
5 jewellery items to print: Pendant
Let me tell you that the pendant is the icing on the cake of 3D print. In fact this 3D print heart could also compete with real jewels. Whit the right material, maybe bronze, copper, silver or even ruby red is also suitable for the most challenging events! You just have to find the right woman.
5 jewellery items to print: jewelry tree stand
Here is a perfect example of how to make the most of our printer! A simple and useful project, which allow us, dividing branch by branch, to order the jewelry. I chose thise type of filament and color but you can do it with other filament type. For example a wood (check this post!) one could be really nice.
Last: Jewel Box
However, if you don’t like the idea to leave jewels in sight you can choose the option number 2. You can create a nice box to store your jewels and keep them away from prying eyes. Maybe hidden in unthinkable places. Especially in this crazy time, we have to be careful and make a jewels box, could be the key to keep our little treasures long with us!
In conclusion, I’ve decided to print these 5 jewellery objects not only for their nice and cute appearance but also because they are really easy to print. In fact none of these designs require special printing skills. None of these even need supports, everything is printed “as is”.
What are you waiting for then? Go, print and make your sweetheart happy!
