XYZ Printing Da Vinci: PROS
Super easy to use.
Prints look good – Prints coming out of this machine are spectacular with layer heights from 0.1mm to 0.4mm
The case that surrounds the bed – It really helps for a quieter experience
XYZ Printing Da Vinci: CONS
Owner filament – We live in the 21st century. People can buy ALL types of filament, so why they force us to buy only one type of filament? This was my worst problem with the printer, as it really puts a limit on which filaments you can use.
Dark Sound Inside – Sometimes during printing I could almost hear an annoying dragging sound. It seems to come from some mechanical component inside, but it doesn’t change the print quality fortunately.
The user interface – This is a personal taste, but you feel limited.
XYZ Printing Da Vinci: Conclusions
Great printer for kids, a 3d printer with ease of use, reliable quality and a 5-inch bed for small projects only. For 350 hours you can print PLA objects. Auto-calibration is an excellent feature that must be present on every single printer. You can also print a file for the extruder fan that allows the printer to deliver even better prints at no extra cost. You can buy almost any roll of 1kg wire for 20 €, but this 600g printer is worth 25 €, so this is clearly something that the company needs to modernise if it wants to be a serious competitor for the future.
It has a closed press room designed specifically for use with children. Amazon offers it at an affordable price!
